3: Providing hope
With the right promotion and marketing, the project will become widely known
People will be able to engage with some of our training and services online
We will touch the lives of people who can’t visit the site with our mission, our stories and our practices.
Building a dedicated site
For this, we will have a dedicated location with:
A purpose-built training centre, which can be hired for external use or used by our staff to run courses and programmes
Accommodation for staff and visitors
Our own ways of growing food and sourcing clean water
A beautiful natural location to support the healing and therapeutic work done on-site
Sustainable organisation
The project will be sustainable in every sense
The project will generate revenue from its courses and services, and by hiring out its facilities. This will make the project financially sustainable, needing little support.
Through expert consultation, we’ll found the project with resilient legal and governance structures.
Best practice and duty of care will be incorporated into all its programmes and operations.
We will grow some of our own food, we will process waste water on-site and we will find ways to generate a portion of our energy. The site will aim to be as harmonious as possible with its local environment and with local communities.
The on-site community of staff will model excellent practices in mediation, communication and conflict management.
We’ll consult with experts in education and paradigm change to ensure that our approach and practices are effective, inclusive and fit for purpose.
